FAQs

Booking live entertainment for any event can be really complicated! We're happy to help and answer any questions you might have. Here are some frequently asked questions, but if you can't find the answer you're looking for here feel free to get in touch!

How long do you play for?

On all of our standard packages we perform two one hour sets of live music. This will typically cover the whole evening, for example from 8:30pm - 11pm with a half an hour break in the middle where we keep the party going with our party playlist. Optional extras like a DJ set or acoustic set can bring the entertainment earlier in the day or keep things going into the night!

How loud are you?

We pride ourselves on our ability to operate at a range of levels. Unlike many bands we can have honed the skills to allow us to play very quietly, providing background music as well as the usual live band party level. We will never be uncomfortably loud.

Can we choose what songs you play?

We have honed our setlist over many years, building a set of songs that grow throughout the evening, as well as providing something for everyone, which is very important at events like parties or weddings. Our music is tried and tested over many successful events, but we are however open to suggestions, and appreciate that music can be very emotive so are happy to take out any songs that you don't want to hear... just bear in mind someone at your event will love that one! As an optional extra we can learn your special song as long as it is possible for a three piece band of our instrumentation to perform. We can however add any songs that you would like to hear to the background recorded music playlist at no extra charge.

How many songs do you play?

We will play roughly 30-35 songs over the course of a two hour live performance,.

Can you perform our first dance?

In our standard wedding package we will play the original recording of the song you've chosen before launching into the first set of live music, however we are happy to learn and perform your first dance if it is possible for a three piece band of our instrumentation to perform. If in doubt, just ask!

Can you record the audio of our first dance?

In short... yes! As an optional extra we are able to do multitrack recordings of all of our performances. Please get in touch to talk about options,

Will we need to provide any equipment?

For indoor events we provide everything we need. For outdoor events we require sturdy cover that won't leak or blow away in the wind and solid ground., Aside from that we need a minimum of two standard electric wall sockets and we're good to go!

How much space do you need?

As an absolute minimum we need an area of about 2 x 4 metres. A little bit more is optimal but we've performed in some very small rooms before!

Do you bring lighting?

Unlike many DJs and bands we bring a set of party lights as standard and can bring more as an optional extra.

Can we use your microphone?

Yes! We do not share our microphones, however, we can set one up for you to use for announcements during the event. Just let us know and we'll get it sorted!

Our venue has a sound limiter. Will that be a problem?

Unlike the vast majority of live bands we're able to operate at any level and this can be managed during the soundcheck.

Can you provide a PLI Certificate and PAT Test Certificate?

Yes and yes!

Do I have to provide food and drink? What is a rider?

Most bands have a rider which will normally consist of food and drink and a changing room. This is standard in the entertainment industry. However, whilst these things are nice and gratefully received, we come ready to rock and roll, so there is no requirement to provide a rider for us.

How do I book?
